Jogging stroller speed

This morning was fairly nice so after getting the older two off to school and prepping dinner (since I work until 8 on Mondays) Will and I headed to South Park for some jogging stroller miles.

I only planned on four miles because I am going to keep my legs fresh for the marathon on Sunday. It felt really difficult for the first mile, but it got better and I really picked it up for the last two miles.

Eight minute jogging stroller miles feel like a 7:30-7:15 equivalent. It ended up being a good run and Will was happy to play at the playground and see the horses!

Bliss

Today was finally beautiful. I was so excited. Reinhardt and I went out this morning and ran 4.5 miles on the Montour trail. I was in the 50s and the sun was shining. I enjoyed the whole run.

It was really beautiful today. All the trees are blooming and everything was green. It was joy! We are a week away from the marathon today and I am fairly well rested. My achilles has been aching a bit so I’ve been taking it easy and icing a lot.
I haven’t been posting much I’ve just been busy and tired. I’m only working part time, but I’ve been trying to get used to it. I worked five days this week and I really enjoy my job. I love the environment and the people. Once clients start working out and the endorphins start flowing it’s a happy place to be.
I got my garden planted today. I am hoping for nothing but fair weather from here on out. Haha. It was great to be out there with the sun shining playing in the dirt. I planted my herbs a while ago in the bay window and they are doing well.

Fresh herbs make cooking more fun and food taste better.
